SAUTÉED GREEN BEANS
AND RED ONION
(Makes 8 servings)
Ingredients
1 pound green beans
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon coarse salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 medium red onion
2 teaspoons rice
vinegar
Procedure
1. Clean, trim and cut green beans into 2
2. Chop onion into wedges
3. In large skillet bring water to a boil and add sesame oil, salt and pepper.
4. Add green beans and onion to the skillet.
5. Cook until the beans are tender.
6. Uncover and cook until the water has evaporated.
7.Stir in rice vinegar and serve
