ASIAN PEAR SPRING 
(Makes 8 servings)

Ingredients
6 asian pears thinly sliced into wedges (12 pieces) 
1 cup sugar 
1 lemon zest 
1 lemon juiced 
1 package of phyllo dough 
2 sticks melted butter

Prcedure 
1. Saute asian pear wedges with ½ stick melted butter. 
2. Sprinkle with sugar and lemon zest and juice and cook until tender. Cool. 
3. Prepare phyllo sheet – lay down one sheet at a time layering with melted butter between each sheet (total of 3 layers) 
4. Cut phyllo lengthwise into 3 strips. 
5. Add a tablespoon of pear filling and roll up, tucking in edges. 
6. Pan fry until golden brown on all sides.
