SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS
Ingredients
1 lb. Spaghetti
2 Jars Spaghetti Sauce
1 Egg
1 lb. Ground Beef
½ c. minced Onion
1 t. minced Garlic
½ t. Dried Basil
½ t. Dried Oregano
½ t. Salt
1/4 t. Pepper
2 t. Mustard
1 t. Parsley, chopped
Procedure
1. Put a large pot of Salted Water on high heat to cook the Spaghetti
2. Put the Spaghetti Sauce in a large pot over low heat to get hot while you make the meatballs
3. Place the Egg, Ground Beef, Salt, Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Spices in a mixing bowl, and mix well with your hands or a wooden spoon. Roll meatball in your hand about 1 inch-round. When all are shaped, gently place them in the Spaghetti Sauce. Cook slowly for 10 minutes without stirring. When they rise to the top, you can stir gently. Continue to cook gently while you cook the spaghetti.
4. Make sure the water for the spaghetti is boiling. Gently drop in the Spaghetti, and stir to make sure it doesn’t stick. Boil for 10 to 12 minutes-whatever the package tells you. Have your adult helper pour the spaghetti and the water into a colander or strainer, and rinse well
