BUTTERMILK PANNA COTTA

Ingredients 
1 T. Cold Water 
1 ½ t. unflavored Gelatin 
1 ¼ C. Heavy Cream 
7 T. Sugar 
2” piece of Vanilla Bean, split and seeds scraped 
1 ¾ C. Buttermilk

Procedure 
1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the water to soften. 
2. In a medium pot, heat together the Heavy Cream, Sugar, and Vanilla Bean until just before it comes to a boil 
3. Take the cream off the heat, and stir in the Gelatin, followed by the Buttermilk 
4. Strain and pour into appropriate serving containers. 
5. Refrigerate thoroughly.
